Hyesung's Mgr battled 'riding horse dance with DBSK

Shin Hyesung’s manager started a dance battle with DBSK, Micky Yoochun and U know Yunho.

The MBC program “Introduce your Star’s friend” Manager special episode have already attracted many attention before it was broadcast on the 18th. Shin Hyesung’s manager, Hyeon Tae Hak suddenly went to DBSK’s waiting room when he is doing a mission.

Singer Shin Hyesung presented his mature stage performances and diverse charms and ended his 2nd solo concert with great success.

On the 18th noon, Shin Hyesung hold his solo concert, “Live Tour Side 1: Live and Let Live in Seoul” at Seoul Bang-i-dong Olympic Park Fencing Arena and displayed his usual image as ‘Ballad Prince’ in which he’s always persistent with as well as other different humorous images.

In this concert, other than the Korean fans, including the Japanese and China fans, there’re more than 6,000 fans enjoying Shin Hyesung’s nearly 3 hours concert performance. During the concert, Shin Hyesung uses his usual friendly tone to communicate with the fans with his love for his fans.

During the afternoon at 6, he appeared on the stage by sitting on a swing from the top, and what surprised the fans is that Shin Hyesung begins his magnificent performance with the song ‘Everything’ which is a track from his 1st album.

Shin Hyesung’s first greetings to his fans, “I’m still a newcomer in terms of holding concerts but gradually, I feel the joy of holding concerts” and “I will not disappointed those who have came here, I will present all of you an interesting performance” and after finished saying this, the concert officially started.

Before the concert, Shin Hyesung expressed his determination, “Rather than activities, I will want to present more of myself as a singer’ during the reporter conference. And based on what he exclaimed, he has successfully presented different kinds of appearances through his singing.

Shin Hyesung expressed that other than performing those songs that are recorded under his solos, he will also be singing “Don't you know” that is recorded under the OST of the MBC drama, “Super Rookie” acted by Eric and also “Echo” and “Purple Rain” which is recorded under Project albums and this resulted in overwhelming response from the audiences.

In addition, as a member from a popular boy band, Shinhwa, he displayed his gorgeous dancing ability with songs “Center” and “Hidden camera” and also uses Seo Taiji and the boys’ “Classroom Idea (Gyoshil Idea)” to display his rocker image. And through songs such as “Change the World” and “End of the Road, he demonstrate his image as a Jazz singer which heat up the concert’s atmosphere.

When he’s performing the song, “Peter Pan's Serenade” from the 3rd album, the whole stage is arranged in the manner that makes others think of it as a musical drama. Shin Hyesung expressed, “Till now, I only put in my efforts on singing however I wish to try out the extent of acting in musical drama.” “I’m still new to it but if I practice hard enough, certainly there will be a day I will stand in the musical's stage!”

On this day, Shin Hyesung has even purposely invited comedian artist, Ryu Se-Yun from “Doctor Fish” as guest to perform a strange comedy to trigger laughter. As a member of “Doctor Fish” together with Yu Se-Yun, Shin Hyesung won applauses with his eloquence that doesn’t lose out to Ryu Se-Yun.

Besides him, popular girl band, Wonder Girls, singer Kim Gun Mo, Park Chang Guen and others are also performing together which add more colors to the concert.

After the duet “A Good Day to Love” between Wonder Girls member, See Ye and Shin Hyesung, Wonder Girls didn’t appear on the stage for nearly 10 minutes with ‘dissatisfaction of the stage equipped’ as a reason and this really startled Shin Hyesung.

However during the period waiting for Wonder Girls, Shin Hyesung started to dance Wonder Girls’ “Tell Me”, “So Hot”, “Nobody” and other dance tracks with his dancing experience (familiarity). The fans enjoy it very much and were well-received with applauses.

Moreover, during the performing of, “Awaken” from his 3rd album in this concert, Shin Hyesung’s microphone has no sound due to technical error. “If such thing happen, the coming performances will become better, isn’t this the pro of Live (performance)?” Shin Hyesung who joke with the fans, re-sings the song “Awaken” again.

Although Shin Hyesung left the stage after singing the encore song, “Same Thought”, which is the title song of his 1st album, however many fans still remain seated on their seats and reluctant to leave for quite some while as they continued calling out Shin Hyesung’s name.

After completing his concert this day, he will be focusing on his Asia Tour concert, beginning with performance in China “Shanghai Grand Stage” on 8th next month as a starting point, 26th of November in Japan Osaka, 28th in Nagoya and 30th in Tokyo to hold his solo concert.

He has also planned to hold concerts in China Beijing during January next year and Taiwan in middle of March and till 2009 his plan will connects to a long march on his Asia Tour.

Shinhwa member cum singer Shin Hyesung's concert is different from other Shinhwa members, his concert doesn't have any of his members attending and he explained the reason behind it.

Shin Hyesung who hold his concert, ‘2008 SHS LIVE TOUR SIDE 1-LIVE AND LET LIVE IN SEOUL’ on the 18th at 6pm expressed that he's different with the rest of the members, his concert has no attendance of his members.

Junjin "I got punched by my girlfriend on the street in the past"

Singer Junjin confessed a humiliating incident in the past where his girlfriend punched him with her fist.

In the recently filmed episode of SBS "Yashimmanman Artist Athlete Village", Shinhwa's Junjin revealed "one time we went out drinking with my hyungdeul (male friends who he treats like older brothers), and during the drinking games my girlfriend then lost 20 times and had to drink each time."

Junjin continued "all of a sudden, my girlfriend yelled at me saying 'Park Choong Jae, you come here' then she pulled me out to the street and started hitting me on the face repeatedly with her fist even while other people looked on. Her punches were very strong and forceful, and I had no idea why she hit me."

The place that I spend all my time at other than sleeping at home. So that I'm not late for my daily rehearsals at 11am, I've been waking up regularly at 8am ^^ Hehehe
10pm at night...Although the rehearsal has ended...and everyone is all tired...but strangely everyone's fighting spirit becomes stronger.
Maybe.... it's the energy created from running about, singing and chatting at the same time... it seems to be that way... ^^

Lee Minwoo: Think before making hurtful attacks

Now at the 1/3 mark of his life, what is Lee Minwoo thinking about? Besides being Shinhwa's Lee Minwoo and M Lee Minwoo, are there other sides to him?

"I do have a gift for dance and art, but I never thought of making use of my gifts to succeed in life. Whenever my parents fought when I was young, all I could see was my mother's tears and my father's despair when his business failed. All I wanted to do then was just to have a stable job. My childhood dream wasn't to be a singer, but opportunities came my way, and my gifts finally came in useful."

After making his debut with Shinhwa and SM Entertainment and eventually hitting it big with their 2nd album T.O.P, Lee Minwoo had his difficult times too, like the time when he suffered from malnutrition during his senior high days.

Hoping to become a singer, he formed a dance group to earn living expenses by performing. Even at that age, his family gave him the nickname of "Little Adult", and these experiences have contributed to his character formation. His family is a major motivating force for him.

During a recent interview, Lee Minwoo talked about his own way of dealing with negative comments. He would think, "Is that right? Are you that great? Can you achieve what I've done?", and dismiss the comments.

"Because of hurtful comments like these, I had many good friends who had to suffer, and some people have lost their lives too. If the victim suffers as a direct result of the comments that someone made, that person should be punished, but that's not the case now. Once someone starts the ball rolling, it's easy for others to be influenced to make such attacks too. This is because they're unable to see things from the victim's perspective. I hope they will think before they make hurtful attacks."

After trying his hand at sitcoms (Nonstop 4) and movies (Wontak's Angel), does Lee Minwoo want to challenge other genres? Having majored in Drama and Film Studies, Lee Minwoo says he just likes to perform. "Standing on stage is also a kind of performance. I'll grab whatever opportunity that comes along, and I'll make use of those opportunities to show everyone Lee Minwoo's charisma."

"There are still many things I have to do and want to do, but I will give myself a high score what I've done so far. Although I'm disappointed that people don't recognize my efforts, but I persevere on because there is at least one fan who is upset because the public doesn't acknowledge my efforts."

It's clear to see that Lee Minwoo doesn't give up even when the going gets tough, and it's little wonder that the only way for him, together with Shinhwa, is up.

Andy busies himself with fanmeetings in China and Japan

Shinhwa member Andy (27) is filled with passion for meeting his fans, no matter wherever it takes him to.

After releasing his first solo album at the beginning of the year, Andy has gone on to hold his first solo concert and also achieved success in musicals. For the last quarter of the year, Andy's schedule remains packed, with fanmeetings in Qingdao, China in November and in Tokyo and Osaka in December to round up a busy 2008.

For the fanmeeting to be held in Qingdao on 29th Nov - ANDY in QingDao 2008 For My Sweeties - the organizer has received enquiries not only from China, but from Hongkong and Taiwan even before tickets have gone on sale.

The organizer said, "As it is, Andy is already enjoying great popularity among the Chinese-speaking communities. Furthermore, Qingdao residents can view Korean programmes via satellite, his popularity is also considerable in this city."

After his fanmeeting in Wuhan in Feb this year and a concert in Shanghai in April, Andy will travel to China for the 3rd time as a solo artiste to interact with more than 2,000 fans on a special date.

In addition, his official fanclub in Japan has started their recruitment drive since 1st October, which also kickstarts his activities in Japan. To celebrate the inauguration of the fanclub, ANDY 2008 Christmas Special will be held on 22 Dec in Nagano, Tokyo and on 23 Dec in Osaka.

JunJin - No.2 Most Admired MC By 7-14's Kids

Community portal site DC Inside (www.dcinside.com) opened a survey for 7 to 14 years old kids to vote for their most favourite MC.

Among the total 1573 participants, 801 (50.9%) voted for Yoon Jong Shin, showing a great support that young children have given the popular MC of "Golden Fishery - Radio Star", the witty and friendly member of "Gay Hero", "Family Outing", and "YSMM 2".

Second place goes to MC feat singer JunJin with 370 votes (23.5%). With his solo hit song "WA" and a unique style that has gained immense popularity, JunJin is becoming the new Prince of Variety Shows through many big programs such as "YSMM 2", "Infinity Challenge", and M.Net "JunJin High School Girls 4".

The other MCs that were also voted by 7-14's children are MC Yoo (5.2 %), Eun Ji Won (2.3%), DJ DOC Lee Ha Neul, etc

Lee Minwoo hopes for a song called "Don't Trust Women"

Since their debut in 1998, Shinhwa has already spent their first decade in the Korean music scene. Shinhwa's Lee Minwoo made his solo debut as M in 2003, and has just released his 4th album. Even though he has already established himself as M the solo singer, he is still very much a part of Shinhwa. So how does he manage the dual identities of M and Shinhwa's Lee Minwoo?

◆M, from Lee Minwoo's perspective

Releasing his solo album after 1 year and 2 months, Lee Minwoo is feeling very contented.

"In 2003, I was the first among the Shinhwa members to start my solo activities. As time passed, each time I released a solo album it seemed to signify a phase of growth for me, and I feel that it's very meaningful to me. The 4th album is actually my favourite and the one that I'm most satisfied with. If I were to rate it, I'll say that it's an album that I have no regrets about."

His previous albums featured his self-penned title tracks like Bump and Stomp helped to establish a unique brand of M Style music. However the title track this time round, Don't Trust Men, was written by Brave Brother, with a more sensual rhythm to it.

"After discussing the style and concept for the track with the songwriter, we decided on the final product, and I think it fully demonstrates my idea behind it. In the past I was involved in most of the songs on the album and it really wore me out. Of course this is something I'll have to overcome if I want to carry on writing music, but I had to consider things from a health perspective since I have to perform as well."

"I wanted to move away from my usual style of strong and aggressive beats since this album will carry into fall and winter, and I wanted to focus more on the melodies. If my performances are all so similar it will get mundane. Most of the titles are in Korean, as I want to make it more accessible for everyone."

The album jacket photos were taken by renowned photographer Jo Seon Hee. After deciding on the concept of the album, Lee Minwoo immediately thought of working with Jo Seon Hee, and that's how the final product - a combination of masculinity and adorable charm - came about.

"My previous albums, whether in terms of fashion or style, always came across as very strongly masculine. I wanted to have more smiles and laughter for this album. I did the album jacket for my 2nd album with Seon Hee nuna as well, and it was really fun. Even if we didn't say anything we would be still be able to communicate. When I called nuna, she just said that she'll do it for any amount I'm willing to give."

"Although the concept is smiles, this doesn't mean that the music isn't done seriously. I just want to emphasize a more easygoing, carefree and happy feeling. Even so, ideas like the painted M on my back and the logo printed on my arm still showed a masculine charm to it. For that photo, I worked out for one whole month to train my back muscles (laughs)."

After listening to Don't Trust Men, I almost really felt that all the men in the world are bad. When I asked him, "Can I still trust men anymore?", he laughed, "If you say that men can't be trusted anymore, then of course all men are liars."

"When I was younger I used to think that love is eternal, that it will always lead to marriage, and that it's worth dying for. But as I got older I got more cautious, I started to wonder how much I could give up for this person, and whether I'm sure if I love her. Lee Minwoo's M - Challenging Music to Fashion

The first singer to trademark his name is none other than Shinhwa member Lee Minwoo.

Making his debut as a solo singer in 2003, he started using the name of M in order to differentiate his solo identity from his identity as Shinhwa member Lee Minwoo.

He started to write his own songs while being active as a solo singer, and eventually moved on to becoming a producer when he released his 3rd album Explore M in July 2007. He gave the term The M Style to his own unique brand of music and dance. At the same time he set up his own company M Rizing and his own fashion brand Wolf M. When we talk about Lee Minwoo, the name of Shinhwa - the group that he has gone through 10 years of ups and downs with - inevitably pops up. Making their debut with Haegyulsah in 1998, they celebrated their 10th anniversary with their 9th album in 2008, and throughout the decade they have only gotten better, eventually being recognized as the top group in Korean pop. ◆ Lee Minwoo's Shinhwa

The title of the longest-running idol group has been given to Shinhwa, like a medal of honor. What is their secret to keeping the group intact and at the peak?

"Rather than to call it a secret, I think calling it a reason would be more apt. After all, we've gone through trials and tribulations together, and we shouldered the burden together. Even if we were to disband, it won't be because the members want to strike out on their own. We're like brothers....lilke family to each other. Even after Eric has enlisted, aren't the five of us still carrying on as Shinhwa? I guess people can't overlook us in this case. That's probably because we're Shinhwa.

Eric was the first among the Shinhwa members to enlist when he reported for duty on 9th Oct. Kim Dongwan, Lee Minwoo, Junjin and Andy will also follow within these two years. Until the youngest member Andy returns from the army, there will be approximately 4 years before the members can reunite as Shinhwa. Although the fact that Shinhwa may be forgotten is a nagging worry at the back of his mind, Lee Minwoo laughs it off.

"I think, just like how we have faith in our friendship, I trust that everyone won't forget us iether. If Shinhwa is a group that easily burns and cools in just a moment, then it should be a big worry for us. But we're not like that, we've come a long way. When Shinhwa reunites, maybe we should do an insurance CF. Longlasting friendship, isn't that a great theme? (laughs)"

Lee Minwoo said that during the sending-off party for Eric, the focus wasn't on army matters either. He even sent Eric an "aegyo" text message, "You're going to the army, is everything going well? Don't you want to meet me?"

"Eric didn't sulk or sigh after getting the message, he was just as laidback as always. In every sense, Eric seems to have that unique laidback pose. I want to be like him too."

"To get to where we are today, it's because of the strength of members and the fans." He added jokingly, "When we return from the army, will Shinhwa conquer the music scene and the variety scene?" Though all the members have all gone ahead with their solo music and/or acting activities, Shin Hyesung is the only one who hasn't tried acting yet. Andy: I told myself I can't fall in love with Solbi

With the image of a doting husband from MBC's We Got Married still fresh in viewers' minds, Andy has shared his thoughts about his onscreen ex-wife, Solbi.

On the 14th Oct episode of cable programme O'live Show, Andy was asked if he decided to leave We Got Married because he developed real feelings for Solbi through the show. He replied, "When you spend 12-17 hours together every week recording the show, you will inevitably be attracted in some way even after recording is over. From the start I controlled myself, telling myself that I cannot fall in love with her, eventually I started to see her as my younger sister."

A picture of Shinhwa leader Eric Mun Jung Hyuk (29) at the military training center has been released to the public. Eric is currently undergoing a 4-week military training. On 13th Oct, the official website for the training center posted a photograph taken on 9th Oct at Chungnam's Nonsan Training Center that featured Eric. In the photo, with his piercing gaze, Eric seemed to be in high spirits as he cheered with the rest of the recruits.

When Eric enlisted on 9th Oct, he promised the fans that he would "proudly fulfill his responsibility to the country". He also said, "Please wait for a short while, in 4 years' time Shinhwa will be back together with a reunion concert. We will definitely keep this promise to restart our group activities. In the meantime, please wait for us."

Eric has given up his US citizenship in 2003 to stay in Korea for his career, and thus it meant that he now had to serve his military duty as well. He was initially assigned for active duty after medical checks, but owing to an onset accident on MBC drama Wolf in 2006, he was re-deployed to serve as a civil service officer instead. Eric will be assigned to Seoul Metro after his basic military training.

To find an artist who has had as many misconceptions attached as Jun Jin is rare. Can it be from his intensity that is apparent when he is dancing? It almost seems like things guys made up who had a bone to pick with him. Stories of him being a womanizer and stories his behavior when he drinks. Countless, malicious rumors like this was calmly explained. Jun Jin revealed that he thought of leaving the entertainment industry as he suffered numerous misunderstandings through the past 10 years. Now, with everything he appears to have the acceptance that "there was hardship at the beginning" and you can also see it in his smile.

▲When was the hardest time you went through up to this point in your life?
=During the most difficult times, I would foolishly thought to myself that "this is the end" a few times. This was before and after the debut. I think many of you still remember this but I had one drink and didn't wake up for 2 days. Also, I got a picture taken with a woman and was threatened with it. There were 3 men and 1 women which I reported to the police as a kidnap and even a press conference about this took place. However, people looked at me strange. I was a victim but people looked at me with magnifying glass which was unfair.

▲Right. There was an incident like that.
=People are this way. JJ said, "There is smoke coming out of the chimney when nothing is burning." For me, in the entertainment industry, it was a place where there was a lot of smoke. The most painful time was when I had to separate from my first love. This person was in the business and her manager was trying to break us up. While we were together, he sent text messages to her such as "Just now he was meeting a girl" or "I saw him here". Rumors of this quickly spread all over the entertainment industry and eventually led to ending the relationship. After that for 2 years and a half years, it was a difficult time.

▲ The way out of surviving that ---.
=It's family. I'm sure it's like that for everyone. Shinhwa members consoled me a lot. The time that I ended my relationship with my first love was when I was appearing on "Dream Team". I was doing a lot of appearences at the time but I was thinking of going to New York to get closure and settle my heart. I was going to look for someone I knew there who was a photographer. There I was going to learn english, acting and choreography. I told Dong Wan hyung that "I'm no longer going to be part of Shinhwa". He changed my mind as he said "there is no Shinhwa without you" and "we do it together".

▲ You receive a lot of misunderstand that you are a womanizer.
=I have never approached any woman who was with another man. That Shinhwa members know very well. I don't like women "jajk up(작업)" or "dash" (between guys(?)). If I get the feeling that I like someone, there is no need for either one of us to initiate a conversation. I thought if people that I was a womanizer than it might be from jealous guys. Even though I don't show interest in women but it looks like I'm still popular with them. Thus, a lot of rumors float around. Let me tell you one thing. If I have a girlfriend and she isn't in the entertainment industry then I change my phone number. I do that to avoid the possibility of her getting hurt. I talk to her briefly on the phone and hang up. I can't understand how a person like this can be called a womanizer.

Jun Jin is always forthright. Even talking about his family history, he always proud. In any place, he is respectful to his father and never forgets to say that he loves him. The source of his future hope is being a father. Park Choong Jae's dream is that he could have a happy family.

=I don't like pretty women.(Laughter) I'm serious. Somehow, I think they aren't good hearted. The person that I want is someone who can take good care of my family.

▲ Please talk about the heartache from your family.
=I was raised my by grandmother. There was no other way. When I was in 4th grade, slowly I learned that "the mother that I had wasn't my birth mom". I saw a document from the closet and something wasn't right. The mother at the time was added to the family register after me. That's how I found out. I knew then. The preciousness of having rice from one who loves you.

▲ Your thoughts regarding your father.
=When I was little, I had a lot of resentment towards him. It was very difficult. Actually, it was scary. I always listened to what I was told but with my friends and I would smoke and drink. Being careful not to get caught by adults. ha ha. During the past 10 years, there has only been 2 times that I bought clothes with money. Growing up with a dad who always exercised, I never had any interest in clothes. Instead of wearing brand names, I thought to look better by working out.

=Ever since I was a boy, my dream was to be like my father. My wish is to have a family of my own. Right now I have no thoughts about marriage. However, when it is time for me to get married that will be the fulfilment of my dreams.

=I would like to do work that appeal to all ages year round. Infinite Challenge seems to be the most popular. One of the six glamorous superstars from Korean super group Shinhwa, JunJin has finally held his first solo concert after 10 years in the business. The concert, which was held in September at the Melon-AX hall, was not only attended by fans from Korea, Japan and China, but also saw group members Min Woo and Dong Wan showing up to lend their support. In addition to wearing a mask while performing, JunJin also shed his clothes, showing off his well-chiseled muscles, causing his fans to scream non-stop.

Q: How do you train up your body? Also, which part of your body are you most satisfied with?

JJ: I love bowling and cycling, maybe because these are the simplest methods of exercise and as well as one of the best methods to train up the body. The part of my body that I am most satisfied with? I think it would be my arms which are big and strong. I remember when I debuted, holding a mike with the other group members, my hands and arms looked really good. Q: What would you consider as an ideal start to a perfect day for you?

JJ: Getting up early in the morning, taking a shower, and then having a warm breakfast with my family, this would be an ideal start to my day. Q: It has been 10 years since Shinhwa made its debut, what do you think is your biggest gain in these 10 years?

Q: Personally taking on the role as model for the Dovoco website, what are your hopes in the managing of this website?

JJ: If I just use my artiste status as a mere signboard, the business will surely fail. I participate in every aspect of the business, from the selection of the merchandise to the management of the website. On MBC "Introducing Star Friends" episode aired on 11th October, Boom was exposed to have imitated JunJin many times. That was Boom's friend Joseph Park who revealed the story.

Lee Minwoo also talked about his ideal girlfriend.

His recent comment on KBS2's Sang Sang Plus that he thought Son Dambi was sexy while working out, had created quite a stir. When asked about this, Lee Minwoo said, "I think looking healthy is more important than looking sexy. Son Dambi isn't close to my idea of an ideal girlfriend."

"To me, a very feminine girl doesn't really have much charm. I'd prefer it if she looks just a little feminine. As opposed to a sexy or beautiful girl, I prefer a chubby girl with a pretty smile."

On a recent episode of MBC's Star's Friends, Lee Minwoo said that gagwoman Kim Shin Young is his idea of an ideal girlfriend.

Singer Solbi revealed her secret to manipulate men (?)

Solbi particpated in SBS Quiz Show, "Six Sense" recently and carried out quick-witted dialog with other participants.

Recently, in MBC Sunday Sunday Night program, "We Got Married", she acted together with Shinhwa member Andy as a fake couple and have received huge popularity. Coincidentally, on that day, Solbi's partner for the quiz is Shinhwa another member, Lee Minwoo.

During the process of determing 'whether or not to attack again', Lee Minwoo advocated "Our team indeed did a false attck for it" and then Solbi opposed to it, "No, we better stop our attack here".

M's interview Pt 3: I don't want to stop at being an entertainer

Now that Eric has enlisted for military service on 9th October, Shinhwa has effectively started its 3-4 year hiatus. After holding their 10th anniversary concert in March 2008, the Shinhwa members have all been busy with their solo activities. First to embark on solo activities, Lee Minwoo has also drafted his own blueprint for the future.

Having been active in acting, music, dance, variety and movies, he has also been dabbling in various business ventures. At the moment, he is concentrating on his fashion line, and is preparing for the launch next spring.

On top of this, he aims to realize his ideas in various fields. Dreaming of becoming Korea's Edison since young, he wants to spread Lee Minwoo's "Happy Virus" all around.

You must be feeling sad now that Eric has enlisted.

No, because it's not like we're not seeing each other anymore. That's why we held the 10th anniversary concert, as an event to meet and greet everyone. We will be holding more of such meaningful events in future, we hope everyone will not forget us.

When Shinhwa members reunite in 3-4 years' time, will you be feeling differently about each other?

Well for this, we haven't experienced it before, so we do feel a littled worried. But being good friends, it will still feel like we've just met yesterday even if we're meeting after a few years. I hope everyone will feel the same way when we reunite.

There are no problems between us. The reason why we could have came such a long way is because whenever anyone of us falls behind, the rest of us will pull him along, no matter it's in terms of spirit or monetary issues. As long as there are no major problems in our country, we will reunite for sure. (laughs)

Is there anything you hope to have achieved by the time of your reunion?

I hope that by then I'll have a place in the industry as a recognized musician. It'll be good if the businesses are doing well too. All in all it will be great as long as I can remain as energetic as I am now.

Have you always had in interest in business?

Because I feel that it's my own work, so even if I fail despite my best efforts, I will have no regrets. If I were to rely on others and their help, it will not be something I can be proud of even if it succeeds. I've already tried my hand at ventures such as online shopping malls.

I want to create a brand where people will recognize the brand for what it is, instead of associating the brand with me alone, something along the lines of limited edition products produced in small quantities.

As a producer you must be thinking of grooming younger talents.

I've received a lot of good advice fom Hyun Suk hyung (Yang Hyun Suk of YG Entertainment), and I've been meeting up with other producers as well. I will definitely groom younger talents and impart what I've learnt during my 10 years in the business. I want to be the boss of an artiste management company. (laughs)

Right now I'm the process of casting, and I have my blueprint ready. My goal is to be a younger brother that YG hyung and JYP hyung can be proud of, not just stop at being an entertainer. I hope to have my own line.

You're known for having good relations with a lot of people within showbiz, isn't it?

I'm not lonely I guess, I get along with anyone. I said before I value relationships. (laughs)

What kind of reviews do you hope to hear from the critics?

I'm happy that I've received good reviews. I've worked for this to satisfy myself, and it's great that I've received good reviews.

For this album, on top of the title track, I hope when people listen to the entire album, they would be thinking, "Lee Minwoo makes music like this", and pay attention to the album. Everything in the album is very real, and it contains songs that I've written and arranged."

The song I 'M' U came about during a ride in Hyun Do hyung's car. He let me listen to the accompaniment, and we were singing along loudly to it, and that's how I came up with the melody to the song. After that I had fun filling in the lyrics in the studio for an hour.

The music industry is in a slump right now, but as long as our country has people still making music with a passion, the music scene will not remain stagnant or deteroriate. But I can confidently say that I won't make "disposable" music. (music that follows the trend of the moment)

You still seem to have thought a lot about your future already.

Since young I've really liked Edison, and the way he translates his ideas into his inventions. Now I really like designing clothes and accessories, and I'm interested in interior design too. I want to be able to display my ideas in various fields. I'm spreading Lee Minwoo's "Happy Virus" right now. (laughs)

Different from his sometimes moody and quiet image, Lee Minwoo is very chatty and cheerful. Looking only ahead, he has placed his ambition aside for now, and he looks happier than ever. Now it's everyone else's turn to be "infected" with Lee Minwoo's "Happy Virus".

JunJin & Andy in Singapore for K-pop Concert on 4 Nov i am really excited for this event! i will be looking into this!

The Singapore Tourism Board has organized a Korea Festival 2008 from 1st to 18th November, with a variety of traditional and contemporary events, from fine arts to popular culture and mainstream music. But the highlight has got to be the K-Pop Concert which will be held on Tuesday evening, 4th November 2008 at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.

Details are sketchy at the moment but the following is an email reply from the Embassy of the Republic of Korea who are the organizers for this event.

Ticketing arrangements for the K-Pop Concert are still being finalised. Tickets will not be sold through the usual outlets such as SISTIC. Hyesung starting Asia tour, holding large scale concert in Seoul

Shin Hyesung will be holding his 2nd large scale concert on the 18th 6pm at Seoul Bang-i-dong Olympic Park Fencing Arena.

In this concert, Shin Hyesung will merely perform songs such as the title song, “Because its you” from his official 3rd album SIDE 1 'LIVE AND LET LIVE' that is released on 26th of August, the comeback stage performance son, “AWAKEN” and the well-like duet song, “A Good Day to Love” as well as those popular songs from his 1st and 2nd album.

The special thing about this concert is that he is preparing to stage duet with his senior, Kim Gum Mo which attracted attention. Both of them will be presenting their beautiful harmonization in the song, “Beautiful Goodbye”.

In addition, Shin Hyesung is also preparing a surprise stage with wonder girls. And doctor fish as well as Park Chang Guen will also be the guests of the concert to add colors to the whole concert performance.

In order to watch the concert performance, Asian fans from China, Japan and others will still be sweeping to Korea to watch even though his Asia tour will be starting on November. Again, the local concert will continue to receive overwhelming support for oversea fans.

M's interview Pt 2: I found a way to deal with negative remarks

As a Shinhwa member, Lee Minwoo has had his fair share of negative publicity in his 10-year showbiz career. He has encountered and overcome evil rumours and depression, problems that has plagued the celebrity world recently.

Faced with the negative comments, he has found a way to deal with it. He tried ignoring these rumours, but then again he can't let them go as if nothing has happened before.

Do you read all the negative comments about yourself?

"I have my own way of dealing with these things. I would think, "All you people, do you think you can achieve what I've achieved?" (laughs) Actually, they know full well how their words can hurt us. It's just that they refuse to stop, and instead happily carry on doing these things to satisfy themselves. "Really? How much better can you do? Can you achieve what I've done?" If I think this way, I'd feel less burdened.

Actually, all these posts and messages can be constructive too. As long as the public can give their comments calmly and rationally, we as entertainers will be able to improve. It will be great if the netizens can try to see things from our point of view, think of how we'd feel when we face negative remarks.

Have you ever tried tracing the source of these rumours and comments?

Ridiculous rumors are very common. Some of them make up stories about me going to places I've never been to and people I've never met. I once managed to find the rumourmonger 5, 6 years ago, and I confronted him. But it was really funny though.

Even if you try to control them, the rumours will still take place, just like a virus. There will be a way to put out the fires.

Many singers are particularly prone to suffering from insomnia and depression.

Regardless, it's easy to slip into a world of your own. When I started my solo project, I couldn't find my place in the music world, and I was depressed over it. It felt like the world's burden all fell onto my shoulders, and that the world may not need me anymore. And also because of some setbacks in my personal life, I thought of ending my life before."

How did you survive these obstacles?

M's interview Pt 1: I want to exchange my ambition for freedom

Singer Lee Minwoo laughs happily. Having gone along with a hardcore hiphop sound and focusing on a more masculine approach to his music, he has made his comeback with a more widely accepted sound. Even from the album cover it's easy to see that his image is different. For the last album he had a wolf-like, aggressive image but for his 4th album M RIZING, we see him laughing happily with youthful innocence.

His title track Don't Trust Men is written by Brave Brother, with a sexier and more sensual sound. Lee Minwoo says, "I've spent a lot of time with a lot of ambitions and desires on my mind. For this album, I wanted to free myself from them and take a breather."

The mood of the title track is rather surprising. "Isn't it very different from previous title tracks Bump and Stomp? There's less of that kind of feel this time round, I can't be stubbornly sticking to one genre all the time. I wanted to express other kinds of styles."

What's the reason for the change?

"I often hear people saying, if only Minwoo was taller by 5cm. (laughs) I started releasing my own music about 3 years ago. Of course I'm grateful if people think that way, but actually I feel that music should cater to everyone's tastes."

So that's why the title track was written by someone other than yourself?

"I've been on good terms with Brave Brother since some time back, and we both acknowledge and admire each other as musicians. Rather than to stubbornly make my own style of music, I thought it would be better if I took a step back and try letting someone else do it. That's why for this album I eased up on my ambitious desires and allowed myself more time to review what I have done so far. Of course for the fans it's a bit of a pity, but I've made it up in other ways. It will be great if the fans can understand this."

You've been writing songs for 9 years now, was there ever a time you encountered writer's block?

"During the 3rd album, I wanted to call the title track Slump instead of Stomp. (laughs) I got the concept for the song from the movie Stomp The Yard - the sound of boots stomping and hands clapping really sounded great. That was actually supposed to be the title track for Shinhwa's 8th album. In the end I changed the melody a little and used it as for my 3rd album instead.

But come to think of it now, it probably looked too aggressive for the stage and the audience probably weren't too receptive to it. So for now, I used that concept for the last time in Run, the title track for Shinhwa's 9th album.

Even so, I'm glad that the seniors and juniors in the music scene all acknowledge that it's a distinct trait of Lee Minwoo. I don't regret it at all."

You must be a little upset to receive comments that your 4th album title track is very similar to Taeyang's Look Only At Me

"I expected that. The arrangement is on the whole different, just that the beat is somewhat similar. After Justin Timberlake first used that beat for My Love, it became quite popular and commonly used. Other than that, the melody is completely different!

The lyrics of Don't Trust Men leave quite a deep impression as well, painting quite a vivid impression of men who just want to date and not think of marriage.

"I thought that I'd probably get scolded for writing lyrics like that but Brave Brother told me that bad boys are the in thing now. Then I recalled Hyesung joking in an interview that I treat girls like accessories. No way! I'm the type who would like a girl for a really long time, and I don't believe in two-timing."

Really?

"It's true. I believe in the power of love, when I'm in love I give it my all. My sister told me once that it wouldn't be too bad to marry a man like me. For me, if my woman expects something of me, I'll give her my everything."

Not too long ago you revealed the names of your ex-girlfriends and got criticized for that?

"I did some thinking about it, and I concluded that I didn't consider all aspects. After that it was a little awkward whenever I met her. Actually, we broke up very amicably, so naturally I just related the story without thinking too much about it. But people felt that since it was over, there was no need to bring it up. But I think it's still possible to remain good friends even after a couple breaks up."

Have you been dating lately?

"I really don't like it when autumn comes. But I'm happy to have met many pretty colleagues and juniors on the variety shows. Even so, I still feel.... (laughs) It will be good if we can get to know each other well enough, establish our status and date comfortably. But if things aren't handled well negative comments will come along and affect the other party, that's something I worry about too."

Eric - Hyesung, Junjin were the saddest; Andy seemed the happiest

Shinhwa leader Eric has become the first Shinhwa member to enlist as he reported for military duty in the afternoon of 9th Oct at Nonsan Training Center, and will undergo 4 weeks of military training before being despatched to serve in the civil service.

Eric joked during the meeting with the media and fans, "The saddest members were Hyesung and Junjin, they had this sad look on their faces. Andy seemed the happiest, he kept smiling."

Eric had met up with the members on 7th Oct for dinner and some drinks.

When asked what the music scene will be like now that he's about to enlist, he joked again, "Hyesung will hold the fort."

About the worries of Shinhwa disbanding, Eric had this to say, "During Shinhwa's 10th anniversary concert, we already made a promise to the fans that we will hold another concert in 4 years' time when all of us have fulfilled our duties to the country. We will keep this promise."

He added, "I'd like to thank all the fans who love Shinhwa, very soon the members will be back after serving the nation. Please wait for us until then, and I will do my best during training and I'll be back."

"Kim Dongwan will be enlisting in November as well, after which the others will enlist one by one. I'll be the first to be back then, and I'll be back safe and healthy."

Throngs of fans send Eric off to the army

More than 300 fans sent Eric (Mun Jung Hyuk, 28) off at the Nonsan Training Center before he reported for his 26-month military duty, including overseas fans from China, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Japan.

Having completed his last drama project KBS2's Strongest Chil Woo in August, Eric reported for service at Nonsan Training Center with fans who have gathered at the camp entrance up to 12 hours before. His status as a Hallyu star is clearly cemented, as fans from countries such as China, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Japan all turned up to send him off before he goes into a 2-year long hiatus from showbiz.

Fans held up banners that bore messages such as "For 2 years we will wait for you everyday", "Our hearts will always be with you", and even "Darling you look good even with short hair, come back soon and we'll get married".

Having relinquished his US citizenship in 2003 for his showbiz career in Korea, Eric was initially supposed to be allocated for active duty, but an onset accident during the filming of MBC drama Wolf in 2006 saw his vocation being changed to a civil service officer instead.

When asked to do the symbolic army salute, he shyly declined. Eric's management company added that he will be deployed to Seoul Metro, although it's not clear which station it will be. Fans said in response that they hope to meet him at least once at the subway station, whichever it may be.

Singer, Shin Hyesung will be singing the title song of the OST, "Along with Tetris" for the game, "Tetris".

Member of the current best idol group BigBang G-Dragon (Kwon Ji Young) has received coutless criticism over his costume in Mnet 20's Choice Awards aired on August 23rd.

Wearing a shirt with provocative phrases "69" (oral sex slang), "I ♥ SEX", "Fuck you too", G-Dragon and his performance for Mnet Choice were hot for a while in the Internet.

However, the issue of his costumes soon generated a conflict, while some voiced "it is not suitable for broadcasting", and the others go with "one should just focus on the performance itself". The Communications Committee with the televised scene filtration function decided to pay special attention to MNet. This phrase is exposed to the deliberation of Item 44 (acceptance level) and will be possibly judged as a violation of Sector 2.

Recently, singer JunJin has been in a "similar" experience. His new song "Saying I love you" didn't pass KBS review team criteria and the decision of not broadcasting the song and the MV was made. The problem occured when Eric's rap part in the song includes the word "Bullshit".

Due to the nature of "popular music" genre, it is very difficult to judge individuals based on subjective views which range from vague to ambiguous.

Since 1995, KBS has banned 418 songs and artists, including Park Sang Min, Cho Yong Pil, Seo Tai Ji, and very recently, JunJin. The public and the entertainment companies are expressing their disagreement with some decisions as they cannot understand the review process and on what basis the decision was made.

From the costumes to the the lyrics, Korean music industry is facing the issue of "Freedom of expression".

For example JunJin's song, if it was sung by a US hip-hop singer, might it have received the same result? At least, in the US, it's certain that no one will ban JunJin because he has "bullshit" in his song. The same goes for G-Dragon, who is a rock singer.

In Korea, it's totally different. We are affected by various factors, such as rituals. G-Dragon costumes received many complaints from the audience. However, the view, though being clear, varies from case to case. The development of consciousness has made a great impact on the culture and people's mindset, and forced the regulators to revise their "Deliberation" or "Sanctions". They cannot simply ignore the points of view of the general audience. And that's why the world should be transparent and accurate.

Anticipation for Andy and Lee Sungjin in Singles the Musical

Blue chips of the variety world Andy and Lee Sungjin will be bringing their own interpretation of the hit musical Singles, much to the anticipation of the audience.

JunJin has become a person of the public for more than 10 years. We have had JunJin "the representative of a singer", but now we're also getting familiar with him as a "multi-entertainer". He is working in various fields and with all the great talents that can only be found together in the special formula called "JunJin". He's moving forward to conquer the "Multimedia" mass.

Debuting as a dancer and rapper of Shinhwa, the longest lasting idol group of the country, JunJin, as well as other members, have also gradually expanded their solo career in singing, acting, musical, and variety shows.

Passing through all the "ups" and "downs" in entertainment industry, the special friendship that Shinhwa member share is unusual. For JunJin personally, that's the "power of love".

Two months ago, JunJin released his Repackage Album "Together 4ever", affirming his status as a solo singer.

"I added two new songs in the Repackage album and performed them in the concerts. I'd love to hold more concerts and stage shows, of course, together with the variety shows. But some people expect me to come up with a new album. Is it a dilemma ? *laughs* With the support from fans, I'm going to do my best in everything."

In JunJin's two day concerts on September 5th and 6th entitled "Together 4ever", Shinhwa members also participated as guests.

"Shinhwa members are busy with their own solo albums and concerts, but they still managed to come as guests to my concert, which I'm very grateful for. They are the people who are close to me and understand me. They know the real me, and I cannot ask for more."

"M (Lee Min Woo) held a concert on September 28th but I had "YSMM2" shooting on that day. I really wanted to attend, and I thought about our 10 years together, and that we're going to be apart for several years, is it that hard to decide whether you should go to one's last concert or not?"

"The fans have been with me for 10 years. Like I always said, they are the greatest gifts in my life."

Eric enlists on 9th Oct but Shinhwa's 10-year friendship continues

The much-loved idol group that hasn't had a change of members in their 10-year career - Shinhwa. Shinhwa's 6 members - Eric, Lee Minwoo, Kim Dongwan, Shin Hyesung, Junjin and Andy - have been showing their immaculate chemistry on stage for the past 10 years, and have all gone on to carve out successful solo careers as actors, singers and entertainers, a clear show of their successful "separate but together" strategy.

However, all 6 of them have or about to reach the Korean age of 30, and from the 2nd half of this year onwards fans will have to temporarily bid farewell to Eric and Kim Dongwan for 2 years while they serve their military duty, while Lee Minwoo, Shin Hyesung, Junjin and Andy will continue with their activities.

Shinhwa's leader Eric will be reporting to the Chungnam Training Center in the afternoon of 9th Oct, and will undergo 5 weeks of basic military training before being dispatched to serve in the civil service from November onwards. As Eric is the first Shinhwa member to enlist, the other Shinhwa members are all planning to send him off personally as a show of support.

Next on the list would be Kim Dongwan, who mentioned through a phonecall on MBC FM4U's "A Date With Park Myung Soo at 2" that he is scheduled to enlist in the 2nd week of November. His management company added that though he hasn't received the notification letter for the exact date of enlistment, but he has already been informed by the military administrative department that he will be receiving the notification in mid-November. Likewise, he will also be serving in the civil service after completing his basic military training stint.

The temporary void left behind by Eric and Kim Dongwan will be filled by the 4 remaining members who will still remain active.

Lee Minwoo has recently released his 4th album and is actively promoting the title track Don't Trust Men through variety shows and performances. His activities will continue through the 2nd half of 2008.

Shin Hyesung who released his 3rd album at the end of August will also remain active. Having recently been selected to sing the theme song for the electronic game Tetris, he will also be kicking off his Asian tour with a concert in Seoul on 18th Oct followed by Japan and China in November.

The new star of the variety world Junjin will continue with his appearances on MBC's Infinity Challenge and SBS' Yashimmanman 2.

Andy, the youngest of the group, has just ended his stint on MBC's We Got Married, and will star in the musical version of Singles from 25th Oct to mid-January 2009.

Even more active now than ever in their activities, Shinhwa lives on even with members preparing to enlist for military duty. Their friendship and group spirit will continue, and both themselves and fans alike will look forward to the day when Shinhwa members all reunite for their next big event.

Eric won't be able to attend his sister's wedding due to enlistment

Shinhwa member Eric will unfortunately be unable to attend his sister's wedding as he has to enlist on 9th Oct.

Due to serve as a civil service officer at a particular subway station office in Seoul after his basic military training stint starting from 9th Oct at Chungnam Training Center, Eric will be unable to attend his second sister's wedding in Los Angeles and has instead filmed a video message to congratulate her.

A spokesperson from Eric's management company expressed, "Eric is the youngest among the 3 children, and his mother will also be unable to send him off due to the wedding. Despite being unable to attend the wedding, Eric has already filmed a video message for her."

He added, "The Shinhwa members have already had a small gathering on 7th Oct as a sending-off party for him, and as they all have scheduled programmes on the 9th, they brought forward the gathering."

Shinhwa members send Eric off with dinner gathering on 7th Oct

Eric and his fellow Shinhwa members had a small dinner gathering and celebrated their friendship before he reports for military duty on 9th Oct at the Nonsan Training Center in Chungnam. Eric is the first Shinhwa member to enlist for military duty.

On the evening of 7th Oct, Eric had dinner and some drinks with the other members before bidding a temporary farewell to them, and they also gave him their best wishes for him to come back safe and healthy.

A source close to Eric said, "Eric met up with the other Shinhwa members prior to his enlistment date, and they had a great time together."

Eric is now resting at home and preparing for his enlistment tomorrow. The other Shinhwa members will not be sending him off on the day itself.

Recently, you will always hear "Junstin Jinberlake", "JanJin", "Energizer", and some others which are JunJin's nicknames everywhere. Appearing in MBC "Infinity Challenge", SBS "YSMM 2", and MNet "High School Girls 4", JunJin has had a busy year with broadcasting sector.

JunJin is not used to "a few bottles of alcohol", he's only used to "a number of times of a-few-bottles". Remember that he has emptied 18 bottles so far. We soon regret asking him for a wine match, but the singer said he had to reduce his capacity for liquor, or in other words, to drink less beer and soju. With his extremely busy schedule, water is the friend of his health.

"That's true, recently, I almost never drink wine, actually cannot find a time to do. So this time is the first after a long period without alcohol. Actually for me, drinking a glass of wine with friends and having a talk together is the way to reduce the pressure."

Shinhwa's Andy will be kicking off his activities in Japan now that his official Japan fanclub has been set up.

Through the official fanclub website Andy issued a notice on 1 Oct, expressing that "I will now be able to meet the fans through the fanclub, and I'm really glad about that. Do come and play often. Thank you very much."

To commemorate the inauguration of Andy's official fanclub in Japan, he will be making his way to Nakano Sunplaza in Tokyo on 22 Dec and also he will be holding the 'ANDY 2008 Christmas Special' fanmeeting in Osaka on 23 Dec.

Junjin challenges acting after 4 years with cameo in new sitcom

Shinhwa's Junjin has taken on a role in the new sitcom "He's Coming."

On the 6 Oct episode of the MBC sitcom "He's Coming", Junjin plays the son of a cable channel boss, and also a "parachute agent" who got his PD job by virtue of his background.

A spokesperson from Junjin's management company said, "For now it's just a one-episode appearance, but if the viewers' response is good we might plan to continue with it."

This comes 4 years after Junjin's starring role in MBC's Nonstop 4. He has also starred in KBS2's Gumiho, SBS' Let's Go To The Beach and also a drama in China.

Junjin has recently shot up further in popularity after his appearances on MBC's Infinity Challenge and SBS' YSMM Season 2.

Shinhwa's M Lee Minwoo confessed during the recording of the Oct 7 episode of KBS2's Sang Sang Plus that he has been attracted by Son Dambi before. Lee Minwoo and Son Dambi were both invited as special guests for this episode.

Fellow guest Lee Hwijae pointed out that the themes of their title tracks are very similar - Minwoo singing about a bad guy playing around with a girl in Don't Trust Men; and Son Dambi singing about a guy who falls into the trap of a bad girl in Crazy.

Lee Minwoo quickly added, "But she's just a younger sister", denying any deeper relationship between them, but under the MC's insistent interrogation he soon said, "I think she's very sexy when she's working out."

On the Oct 5th episode of KBS2's Happy Sunday: Kkokko Tour, Lee Minwoo and Amy went on a diving date together and shared a breathtaking underwater kiss.

When Amy alighted the tour bus full of the celebrity singles, Minwoo followed suit and they proceeded to a fun date where they both went for a diving session. Their kiss, which happened as they both removed their masks, came as a surprise to many viewers.

Lee Minwoo said, "At first when the PD asked me to do a kissing scene with Amy in the water I declined, but when during the dive when I saw her in a completely different light and it just happened. That moment still feels very vivid right now."

Kim Dongwan scheduled to enlist in 2nd week of Nov

Shinhwa member Kim Dongwan is scheduled to enlist for military service in mid-November.

During a phone call on MBC FM4U's Park Myung Soo's 2-Hour Date on Oct 6, Kim Dongwan said that he will be enlisting in the 2nd week of November. The phone call happened as fellow Shinhwa member Lee Minwoo was the special guest on the show on this day.

According to Kim Dongwan's management company, he has yet to receive his letter of enlistment, but he has already received notification from the military administration headquarters that he is due to enlist in mid-November.

He will receive 5 weeks of military training before going on to serve in the civil service for 2 years.

Jun Jin Delays Enlistment till February 28

Rising entertainment star Singer Jun Jin has received the enlistment warrant but has delayed till February 2009 due to current activities.

A source close to the Jun Jin revealed on the 6th, "Jun Jin has received enlistment warrant for Kyung-Ki 306 Bo Chung active service unit. However as Jun Jin is currently active in various programs it has been delayed to February 28th next year.

Following fellow Shinhwa member Eric's enlistment on the 9th, with Jun Jin's enlistment now confirmed, all Shinhwa members have announced their military service.

Jun Jin recently declared he was prepared to receive the proper and deserved right to walk the road as a man of Korea when he first received the warrant. However due to his involvement in current programs such as "Infinite Challenge", in order to not create setbacks for programming and not leave while he is receiving acclaim, the decision for delaying the enlistment was made.

A source close to Jun Jin said, "Jun Jin has been thinking of entering the active service unit from a long time ago. As much as his enlistment has now been confirmed for February next year, he is planning to work his hardest till then."

Park Yejin-Shin Hyesung, Family Outing's mushy couple

Sweet-smiling beauty Park Yejin and mommy's boy Shin Hyesung becomes the mushy couple of Family Outing, constantly praising each other.

On the Oct 5th episode of SBS Family Outing, Shin Hyesung volunteered himself for the breakfast task as he said his mother had said that it's very meaningful to make the meal that starts the day and instructed him to take on the task, while Park Yejin also volunteered to be his partner. The pair then decided that the breakfast menu for the day would be kimbab and egg porridge.

When they got to the chicken coop to get some eggs, while Shin Hyesung got scared, Park Yejin told the chickens sweetly, "Chickens, I'm not here to catch you today, don't worry".

Shinhwa Members Accompany Eric To Enlistment Ground

The legendary group that has held the top spot in the entertainment industry for 10 years, Shinhwa, will have their leader Eric enter military service first and the rest of the members will accompany him to Chung Nam Non San training station, showing off their exceptional friendship.

A source close to Shinhwa on the 6th revealed, "Eric will be the first to enlist in the military out of the Shinhwa members. So on the 8th, they will all get together to have a quiet dinner together and then on the 9th they will all travel together to the training station."

The source continued, "As much as its Shinhwa who've kept their friendship going strong for a decade, it seems they are all deeply emotional about Eric's enlistment and not one to just pass by Eric's enlistment without doing something special for him. However, whilst all members have promised to attend the dinner on the 8th, it is not clear whether all members will be able to travel with Eric on the 9th due to overlapping schedules."

Eric will be admitted to Chung Nam Non San training station on the 9th where he will begin his military service. Eric will receive basic military training for approximately 5 weeks and then is expected to serve in general service personnel unit.

Eric was originally enlisted for the active service unit but after the accident that occured on the set of "Wolf" in 2006, the final verdict was changed to the general service unit.

The members that currently must enlist this year are those born in 1979; Eric and Kim Dongwan. Kim Dongwan is also expected to enlist shortly after Eric.

Andy, Solbi end 'marriage' on We Got Married

A chapter has come to a beautiful close on We Got Married with the departure of the An-Sol couple.

On the Oct 5th episode of We Got Married, Andy and Solbi ended their 7-month 'marriage' with a farewell trip. Sharing a final kiss at the pool hall where they shared their first kiss, the couple relayed their last messages to each other during a walk in the park.

When Andy said, "Even without oppa, you still have to eat well and take care of your health, and live well", Solbi uncontrollably broke into tears. Andy himself teared up as he continued, "There was sadness, happiness and bliss during this whole time, and I did things that I've never tried before. The best thing was being able to meet Solbi's parents."

JunJin's "Fever" with Janppinom UCC

JunJin's UCC edition as his entry to Infinity Challenge "PD Mission" has become a "Fever" after it was aired on October 4th, attracting everyone's attention.

JunJin proved his strong enthusiasm by doing "WA" MV re-shooting, collecting all pieces of choreography dancing by all types of people, from the kids to the elder, from male to female bystanders, and even foreigners.

Especially for the shooting, JunJin went to Gyeong Gi Province, Goyang Ilsan on his car and created numerous moves: walking, running, jumping on board, jumping off the cars, falling on the street, ect, which totally displayed his unique charm. Regarding bystanders' reactions, JunJin had the most natural shots.

Moreover, his unique and funny characteristic was also demonstrated by the parodies of Lee Hyori's You-Go-Girl and Uhm Jung Hwa's D.I.S.C.O. From hair, makeup, clothing, and facial expressions, to the moves and the dance steps, JunJin's re-interpretation of the two hot Divas created a "Hot Fever" in the middle of mild autumn.

However, the over-enthusiastic JunJin was a victim of the "Fever" himself since he was actually hospitalised after the shooting of the UCC because of the fatigue, which led to a hot fever. He then couldn't take part in the final recording of IC in the open studio.

JJ: I really want to be a father, to have a small family, to take care of children. Professionally, I have many plans for the future. I always dream of the day Shinhwa comes back together. JJ: The life of an artist is not full of rose and glory. People always say we can earn money very easily and we're always young and beautiful ... That's not reality. Reality is much more ugly and painful. I am relatively successful now, but what accompanies to success and popularity is loneliness ... Really very very lonely ... But I cannot ask people to understand it, can I ? We have our rights to judge something according to our own opinion. On KBS2TV Show "Champagne" which will be aired on 4th October, Micky's story about JunJin created an extraordinary eloquence and concern.

Shinhwa member, Shin Hyesung who is busying with his activities since the release of his 3rd album, will be having surprise collaboration with Taeyeon from SNSD.

Shin Hyesung will be performing for the first time on the song, ‘A Good Day to Love’ from his official 3rd album Side 1 ‘Live and Let Live’ in public on SBS ‘Kim Jung Eun’s Chocolate’ which will be broadcasted on the 4th of October. His partner for this duet will be Taeyeon from SNSD. The special thing about this song, ‘A Good Day to Love’ from the album is that, this song is actually a duet with Ms Korean 2006, Honey Lee which is her first time and attracted much attention.
